| Sorry about the last entry! I really just didn't know what to write about. But, have you ever noticed that we don't always feel good about ourselves? I mean, we have those moments when we feel, eh, ok about ourselves, but, it is not a constant thing? why is that? It really bothers me, I wish I was better about that because God always loves us, but we don't always love ourselves.
So pretty sure New Years Eve was fun. I wish that Joni would have been there to be with me but, noooo! She would rather hang out with Dayton. (hey who could blame ya!) | | |

| Ok, so I was listening to the song "Little Drummer Boy" just now, and you know, I just started thinking (scary I know  ) there was this one part where they sing, "I played my best for Him, on my drum!" It just made me think of the verse Isaiah 6:8, "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, 'Here am I. Send me!" Just because, God has called everyone of us to do different things to help carry out His plan. For some, its playing a drum, and for others its becoming a doctor or a pastor, for me personally, I know He called out to me to not date while I am in highschool, and I need to do my best to follow through with my committment, no matter WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've already let myself down and compromised my promise... I wont do it again! The fact is, we all have our "drum"/ "gift" that God has blessed us with or promise or whatever it is, we need to play to the best of our ability for Christ. | | |
| Hey everyone, yea, pretty sure that I am having a pretty stinkin' good week so far! It got cold!!! Finally! I mean, common, its Texas, if youre not excited about the change in the weather well, I don't know if I can associate with you anymore because you gotta be stinkin crazy! Hahahaha! Just kidding, that would mean I couldn't be around myself,and that is virtually impossible, so, i wont judge y'all too harshly! Anyways, today is Kelly Kunkely birthday! I feel really bad though because I'm poor and I cant get her anything, I guess I'll just get her a late birthday present. OH and today, Nathan Peets and I got to teach in X-RAY today. It was really cool! He came over last night and we went over notes and all that fun stuff, but we talked about Holy Huddles, like we talked about at our church, and I think it went really good. We talked about it in football terms, kinda, more like all around sports terms, and my quote, which I am very excited of by the way was, "Don't use your friends as your offense, use them as your deffense." Basically, when your playing in a game then you have your team to back you up, so you always come back to them when you are needing help, and then you all go into prayer and let God handle it for you. I don't know, it made sense to me... but then again, it is me....
